May Service Weekend 2002

Join your brothers in service and fellowship at the May Service weekend at HMSR. There's a lot planned, including service, fellowship, food, and fun. Weekend highlights include:

Turtle Clan Challenge - your guess is as good as ours!
Catholic Mass on Saturday night for interested Scouts
Lodge Officer Elections at Sunday's Quarterly Meeting. This year's slate of officers is posted here.

Plan to join us for all of this, plus the satisfaction of having fun with your friends while helping your camp with a little hard work. All this for only $10 by May 3, or $15 before May 10. You can print out a registration form here.

Please note that cabins are now designated as youth or adult cabins in compliance with new Youth Protection guidelines. Please check the cabin lists at check-in. A second option is using a tent-site for lodging.

Friday
6:00 p.m.	Check-in begins	Administration Building
8:00 p.m.	Pre-Ordeal Ceremonies	Shawnee Campsite
8:00 p.m.	Brothers meet to stake-out the Ordeal candidates. Have a flashlight, lighter/matches, and some dry wood handy.	Meet on the Administration Building porch to leave for the trail
9:00 p.m.	Crew Chief Meeting.	Willit's Dining Hall
9:30 p.m.	Cracker barrel	Willit's Dining Hall
12:00 a.m.	Return to cabins/lights out	Your cabin
Saturday
7:30 a.m.	Breakfast, Song, Announcements	Willit's Dining Hall
8:30 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.	Morning Cheerful Service	Meet your crew chief in front of Willit's Dining Hall
12:00 a.m.	Lunch, Announcements	Willit's Dining Hall
1:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.	Afternoon Cheerful Service	Meet your crew chief in front of Willit's Dining Hall
3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.	Brotherhood candidates and reviewers dismissed from service to report for Brotherhood reviews. Do not arrive before 3:30 or you will be asked to return to your crew.	Kittatinny room
4:00 p.m.	Meet with Ordeal candidates. Officers/Committee chairmen can come to the Cub Dining hall in full class A uniform to meet and talk with the Ordeal candidates (soon to be Ordeal members). This is a great way to promote your committee to our new incoming members.	Cub Dining Hall
4:15 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.	Turtle Clan Challenge hosted by the Turtle Clan. This event is a surprise... but all are welcome!	TBA
