LODGE LEADERSHIP
DEVELOPMENT COURSE

The leaders of Kittatinny Lodge 5 held a great Lodge Leadership Development Course (LLDC) on November 4, 2000 at HMSR.  Officers, chairmen, advisors and interested members in attendance had fun while learning more about their lodge and sharpening their leadership skills to better serve the lodge.

The LLDC Program was designed specifically for our lodge by the trainers who had considerable experience in the content they taught.  Materials were drawn from various source, ranging from the National Order of the Arrow LLDC 2.0 CD, the Order of the Arrow handbook, the Internet, and personal experiences in the lodge.  The qualified and well prepared trainers  gave dynamic presenations that increased our knowledge and ability to lead.

Beside being an enjoyable and informative time spent with Brothers, attendance at the LLDC helped the lodge reach one of its goals for Honor Lodge.  The chairmen and advisors who attended the LLDC allowed us to train more than 75% of our Executive Committee, completing the Honor Lodge requirement.

LLDC participants intensely ponder a leadership question in their groups.

A presenter enthusiastically teaches Leadership Dynamics to the seminar.

Two participants cheerfully share their role play of leadership styles for the group.
