How much do you know about the Order of the Arrow?  Do you know what it takes for our lodge to organize weekends, coordinate elections, and run different programs throughout the year?  Do you know what your job is as a Troop O.A. Representative?

Well, now’s the time to learn.  From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on November 2 (that’s Brotherhood Day!), Kittatinny Lodge 5 will be holding its annual Lodge Leadership Development Course (a.k.a. the LLDC).  The LLDC is a great place to learn more about:

  • Lodge Structure

  • The Lodge Plan Book

  • Unit Elections

  • OA Troop Representative Program

  • The Mission of the Lodge

There is going to be a special training session in the afternoon to explain the Troop O.A. Rep position, meet your district Representatives, and answer any questions you may have about you leadership position.

Everyone is welcome, but if you are a committee/clan chairman or adviser you are expected to attend.  So, whether you’re a veteran committee chair, or fresh Ordeal member, we hope to see you at this year’s LLDC.  Please contact the Lodge Chief through our Message Center and let him know that you plan to attend so proper arrangements can be made.  Cost for the event is free, and registration requires only letting the chief know you plan to attend.  Deadline for notification is October 20, 2002.

If you are staying for Brotherhood Day activities and ceremonies, you will need to submit a registration form for Brotherhood Day and $5.00 to cover the cost of your evening meal.  Deadline for Brotherhood Day registration is October 18, 2002.
